The Seed

The red seed

unfolding it’s arms

reaching out into the chest

can start so small,

so small

Like a spec of dust in a reflection

that will grow to be sustenance or disease

occasionally forgotten,

never truly leaves

A line of succession of valuable deeds

of beauty, of strength, of labours that come

All time in the world, inside the seed breathes

as it opens it’s eyes to the breeze
